Just done a mot check on it. Under side excessively undersealed.

Sounds like its had a fair bit of welding too.

It's an XR3i at best,S1 turbo shouldn't be a twin bolt strut shell like this one.
It would be a decent enough car maybe but it certainly isn't worth anywhere near his asking price.

I spotted the bolts aswell. Anyone that's looking to invest 13k in a s1 is going to be an enthusiast who knows exactly what to look for as far as I'm concerned. Maybe worth half his asking price as a rep if the shells mint imo

I think the roofs rails are to short as well. On s1 they go a lot closer to the edge of the boot lid.

IIRC. It had several MOT fails which included rot/structural issues, which miraculously disappeared when it was re MOT'd a day or two later.

I really hope someone does their research before they shed out tons of money on this shitter. Feel sorry for the people who don't know much about cars and go and buy these things. Just goes to show u can't trust car traders still and prob never will

Yeah "no visible rust" must be their way of saying its full of rust and we know it but were saying this so we acknowledge it in some way shape or form to cover our asses
