has anyone got a headunit with this feature, im thinking of replacing my headunit and I m wondering if its any good, I cant imagine I could use co-pilot with it, but google maps works and it would be handy to be able to answer my phone.

Does Google Maps work with it? I was under the impression only Apple's own maps app works with it for navigation. At least that's all I could get working with it when I tried it out briefly in a Halfords recently. I plugged my phone into it, and it brings up all the apps that are "certified" to work with it - the only additional app that showed up on mine was Radioplayer, for streaming internet radio stations. Everything else did work really well, but I didn't see Google Maps on it. I could have just been being dumb though.....

I have, I have a Pioneer SPH-DA120 in my ST170. So far, I'm quite liking the unit though there are a few niggles:

- Apple Maps only (and dependent on cell signal, so when I went to North Devon recently I had no satnav at all)
- Occasionally won't actually put any audio through on phone calls, have to unplug the phone from the unit and put it back in to get it to work
- No album art on Now Playing (though this is a CarPlay issue, not one specifically with the unit I have)

i do like the look of that unit compared to my sony its one of the first touchscreens that came out and its not that responsive, does the steering wheel control work with it?
