It's very difficult to put a value on track/rally cars, as it depends so much on the spec to which they've ben built.

At a guess, I'd say as a complete car, probably circa 10k?

Dont know anything about the car, but assuming its full of nice trick track bits, like rose jointed suspension etc and a rebuilt engine to a decent spec i would have thought it was worth 10K+ easily.

If its just a very basic spec but looks like a track car though, i would have thought you will struggle to find a buyer at all, so if you wanted a quick sale i wouldnt be surprised at it going for under 8

As a road spec car that just looks racey, i reckon you will struggle to get good moeny for it.

Personally if it was mine though i still wouldnt want to let it go for less than 10K

Phil, there arent many cars out there which are worth as much as a whole as they are broken up, especially track cars, so the fact it is worth more than 9K in bits doesnt automatically make it worth 9k.

You have a price in your head, put it up for that and see what happens.

I was kind of making the assumption he would paint it some plain colour before selling it.

As obviously no one is going to drive around in thier nice new escort cosworth they have just bought with "noddy motorsport" up the side of it when that means nothing to anyone except possibly spikey.

You can buy a LHD GRP N Escos for 7.5k...yours is a Grp A right hand drive isnt is Spiky?...Ok you got mainly Grp N parts on it so 10k is about the right value.

its deffo worth more in bits than it is as a full car - im not going to price the whole car as i know what cars like that go for - unless someone wants it specifically then they would pay more - when you put so much money into a car like that you loose a goo 75 % of it tbh - i should know

But as Gus pointed out Mark with the exception of the looms and shell most of the parts are standard cossie and nothing special! I doubt it would make over 10k in bits in fact a standard one would be worth more in parts imo!!

you see some nice escorts cossy`s with uprated diffs, boxs, engine ect going for between 10 and 16 k and they are well sorted so i whould say max 10k if that person wants it, because at the end of the day its what someone willing to pay for it not what you want for it, and not being funny but if it was all white it whould sell a lot better any way didnt you get it quite cheap if i remember
