Default Duratec engine differences?

I'm looking at buying a 2.0 duratec engine to run instead of a silvertop 2.0 but is there any difference between a fiesta st150 duratec and a Mondeo 2.0 duratec?

I like your thinking. As far as I am aware there is no difference. I thought about this but gone too far with my 1.8. Inlet and exhaust are the opposite way round and engine mounting maybe difficult. The main problem is the gearbox bolt pattern although the fiesta uses an ib5 so you may have a way of getting it in to fit. May have to convert to hydraulic clutch and cable change.
