Don't know if your both on here but you made my day..
Was going for an Interview and were feeling shit lol...
Then I looks at slip road an booooom hahaha, I nearly hedged it when you both appeared!!
Not often you get two mk1's together parked, let alone to run with them for a bit...that's one of the coolest sights a ford nut will ever see in his rear view and gave me a boost I really needed, shame its average speed on that bit
They both looked an sounded the absolute bollox, If your on here I'd love too see more of them both Awesome motors!!
I will cherish this day till the day I get one for myself....
Lol yeah I don't do shows anymore, ain't done for years but the blue oval always burns bright in me..was just the whole moment of it all, was epic having two in my rear-view, last time I had anything cool in mine was a lotus Carlton at erm silly speeds...
Was just a really awesome boost to my system seeing them, I needed a smile and I got two belting ones for a good few miles...
A couple of mates of mine were out in their frs today, going to John Gross Ford in Ipswich to look at the new frs.
Yeah that'd be right, they swung off at top of the 14 towards Orwell so yeah off too Gross'...funnily enough I were at Gross' bout 7yr ago looking at a Mk1..
My bro in law's neighbour is a sales manager up there, always trying too tempt me up there, he may get his wish if one of your mates is chopping one in lol
Well if you see em tell em they made my day fella
Both cracking motors, so wish I'd bought one when I had the chance
Had mine out today, always look forward to getting in it and it always brings a smile to my face. Every drive is like a special occasion.
That's lovely Staffy!!
I've a pre face ST, adore it but the mk1 just felt so much closer too the rs turbo when I had a drive, loved its rawness'...the st just grunts and munches' where as in the mk1 it felt like an event taking it out.
I'm still hankering but the lack of spares really is putting me off..
