Default Wheelarch rolling in hertfordshire area

Hi all

I need to get the wheel arches rolled on my cossie but can't seem to find anyone that can do it

Does anyone know of anywhere I can get them done?

Cheers,

Gary.

I went into R-tec a few weeks ago to ask and they said that it's not possible to roll the rear arches on a Sierra which I think is bollocks as I know a lot of cossie's have been done!

I'll give Elite a call and see what they say, I don't mind travelling a reasonable distance to get a good job done

I would have a go but having never done it before, I'd rather let the pro's do it

Cheers lads!

This should be a fairly simple job for any bodyshop, try local ones in your area.
I had front and rear ones done years ago.

I've spoken to a couple of bodyshops locally and they're not interested in doing it and the ones I have used round here I wasn't happy with their work so won't use them again. The only bodyshop I've used that I was happy with is 260 odd miles away!

Alright Gaz,

I have got a wheel arch roller kit that I bought a while back. Have not used it myself yet but your welcome to borrow it. If I was you I would have a go rather than let some monkey loose on it.

The body shop I like is up in Flaunden in the building up the track from Wheelrefurbishing.co.uk Flaunden Lane, Flaunden, Herts. HP3 0PQ
They have done a couple of bits for me and my dad in the past always been spot on.

Could try Finish Line in Gravely near Stevenage. They quoted me to do the fronts on my A4.

Wouldn't let them change a set of dustcaps never mind attack body work.

This was their attempt at a silencer delete which led to the whole system being scrapped.

if you do get it done make sure you get it done by someone who really knows what they are doing and i would get the inner lips re sealed and would waxoil inside the rear quarters too, most of the rear arches i have had to weld on fords have been down to poorly rolled arches

Can't say I was ecstatic with it to say the least. I even stood under the car and told them how I wanted it doing, which they subsequently ignored.

They do have happy customers so they must be capable of getting it right but I certainly can't and won't recommend their work.
