How Rare? Brooklyn Ford Arrows Formula 1 Escort Cosworth
Hi all, recently acquired a very very special car, an Arrows Formula 1 Escort Cosworth Brooklyn Ford special, only 25 cars ever built. Was wondering if anyone had anymore information on these cars as there is literally nothing about them on the internet apart from 3 pictures and 1 magazine article. Here is a picture of the car and also a picture of one I found online next to the actual Arrows F1 car. Thanks

Only found a bit of info , all special order built with a max of 25 by Brooklyn Motorsport , they where meant to be exported only to Chinese market. Should come with a special plaque , toy replica car , and race wear made by some Italian firm. Also had special wheels , spots and power was up to 265 bhp with ecu remap
Hope this helps

I think you have a very rare car , time to slap a 100k price tag on it as everyone else seems to atm , if there's good money to be made in today's market then sell it mate as its only a escort cosworth .
Just think what you could build or buy for decent money
Good luck anyway

One of the Ford mags did an article on them when they were new and it came with a poster as well, Up until recently I still had both but had a clearout and it may well be in a landfill somewhere now, if I can find it you can have it.
All based on small turbo escos and meant for the Japanese market where Footwork the arrows sponsor were based, I understand a few have headed on to Aus in recent years.
Its a non Ford, sticker special really, but rare in its own right.

Loved the design on this car back in the day.
It was on the cover of Fast Ford October 1995, can scan a copy of article if you like.
Made for Japanese Market
Model, plaque and clothing as mentioned
Planned to do 25 cars
Apparently demo car had vinyl decals but they planned to paint it on the real cars
Chipped ECU to around 260bhp
Lowering springs were an option

Hi fordnutsboltsclipsscrews, just wondering if you found out any more about the Brooklyn Ford Escort cossie? I know this thread is more 3 years old but I have an odd-ball escort Cossie and would love some clarification where it might have originally come from. Its got cloth interior, wide up windows, no ac, no abs, crystal white, right hand drive and it was built to go to Japan. I bought it as a import from Japan, second owner but the first owner had no details at all about it. It's a 1994. If anybody can shed a light I would appreciate any info.
Cheers
