Default PLEASE help

Hi thanks for reading my problem is that I have a mk1 focus 2000 2.0 zetec I was driving along today and the car cut out with no juddering when I tried to restart it wont turn over I have power to all the lights, radio, central locking but nothing to the starter, windows, and I cant hear the fuel pump when the key is turned and I have a check engine on and its not showing the mileage

Is the engine turning over faster than normal.

Is the starter at the front of the engine or at the back. You wanna see if you have power going to the starter from both the battery(permanent live) and switch live(from the igniton switch)

It's on the back of the engine.il get a meter on it tomorrow its strange how im not getting power to the Windows and I think the pump is there a reley linking them or could I be looking at a loom problem

I had that thought to but my electric windows don't work too its whats really confusing me

What does the immobiliser light do when you switch the ignition on?

Yeh if the light is staying on i would say imobilzer fault.

How many keys do you have with the car.

I only have 1 key
And as of today iv got a green o/d off light?

Hi all thanks for all the replys I have got to the bottom of my problem it was the thin earth cable from the battery had snapped
