So I'm asking for a mate who does have a build thread but no posted here and i know most look here.

He is going for carbs on the blacktop so if anyone has done this could you give a little help on the mapping side of things.

So he has got a 2.0 blacktop from a escort si and he has put his 5 speed gearbox from a 1.3 onto the blacktop and wanted to know what clutch and flywheel is needed?

Also what engine mount is needed? Do any mount need modding?

Cvh efi flywheel with rst 220 mm clutch. Although a focus 1.8 zetec flywheel might be alright. Google should confirm. Have a look for Karlos G's zetec turbo guide on here. Although you ain't turbo charging the engine the guide details getting the engine mounted etc.

Studabear is right with the flywheel and clutch

Im running bike carbs an using the silver esc module for timing as its a standard engine although you can spend as much as you like for programmable ignition management.

Engine mount wise its pretty similar to the cvh, one mount hole needs modded

Google it, theres loads on it
