Default 2004 Mk1 Ford Focus TDCI

I wounder if anyone can help, I've got a Mk1 TDCi 2004, I'm getting engine judder when cruising at a set speed ie 70mph

It accelerates fine and tbh goes well it's just when cruising at a set speed

I've blanked the EGR valve off but it's doing it!

I have had the laptop connected to it using forscan but there's not fault codes

Anyone got any idea's?

Have you checked the engine mounts? The back gearbox mount amd top mount used to split.

Is the judder only at 70 mph? Have the wheels been balanced.

I've changed the gearbox mounts, wheels seem fine it's definitely the coming from the engine it's when cruising at a set speed

Maybe it could be a problem with one of the drive shafts.

Ive changed a few in the past.

The only judder ive noticed on these engines is more like the engine is holding back and chugging a bit. The fault has always been fuel filters

Inner driveshaft joint or the duel mass flywheel.
