Default pulling a car out of storage, do's and don't's

seeing as i parked the mondeo up after ford fair and it's been sat in the garage ever since, any tips as to what to do before i roll it out again?

or is it just jumping in, starting it up and going for a spin?

Lol. When i leave my cossie for weeks on i end i always desconnect the coil and crank it over to get the oil round first then fire it up.
In your case you could disconnect the coil pack plug, this might bring a warning light on though. Or less you pull the fuel pump fuse out.

just charge the battery, tap fuel inertia switch to kill fuel if petrol, if diesel unplug stop solenoid on diesel pump, crank for 3 ten second bursts to build oil pressure and reconnect/reset what youve done to immobilise and start it up, 6 mths isnt a massive lay up.

If its only been a few months just fire it up and let it idle for a few minutes so the oil can circulate then drive on.

6 months ?

Have a full inspection on the chassis for rust in case it's all rotted away. If that's ok, get in start it up and drive it.
