Hi I'm new to the forum.
I'm just wondering if anyone has experienced or has any encounters with this before...
I've got a saph cos 4X4 and when I bought the car it had Koni lowered suspension all around.
I have just replaced all my springs and struts back to standard (I bought the complete original suspension from a breaker) second hand.
It's been fitted for a week now (allowing time to settle)
1) the front springs were half as thick as the rears; is this normal?
2) the rear is sitting about 4 inches higher than the front; I can fit my whole hand into arch gap on rear but only two fingers on arch gap on front.
I'm just worried incase they sent me the incorrect rear springs as they were a pig to fit.
Any help or advice would be highly appreciated.
Many thanks 😊

Welcome to the forum, something sounds very odd. Can you get some pics up?
I would look for some Ahmed bayjoo springs as they are supposed to be great on road cars. I think someone said he is based at central garage?

Personally I think they have supplied the wrong rear springs. I'm happy with the front just the rear looks like a off roader lol.

Prob standard Sierra springs,not cosworth.
The cars are so old and the springs have prob lost their paint markings so you will never know.
I'd call Mike rainbird or grove garage and get a set of 4 Ahmed bayoo springs for £170 delivered instead of wasting money buying second hand mismatched stuff from a breaker.
