Default Saph 4x4 rear brakes - ADVICE NEEDED

Hi, just wondering what people would reccomend for an upgrade on the standard rear brakes ie replacement discs & pads?
Im on with my restoration project, already got the braided lines.
Unsure what discs to get and have only ever used Ferodo DS2500 pads before?
Got a 4pot AP set up on the front.
Any advice would be much appreciated

The reyland 300mm set up is very good I have that on mine. Bigger disc with a bracket to space out the caliper

I have 16 inch wheels and used the mt motorsport rear conversion with ferrodo pads, I think it is very similar to the reyland ones.

Its not diameter that's the issue, its spoke clearance on the wheel the OP mentioned.

I think you have said before that the compomotive design is pretty good for brake clearance

I was saying that I was on 16s, you said it isn't the size that was an issue, I was agreeing as you have said that comps give more room. Your brakes fit under my 16s but that doesn't guarantee they will fit under all 17s. I hope that clarifies

Don't like how those big rear disc conversions wear the pads on only part of the disc 😡

Look Gucci, until they wear in . Then look shite

Some kits run smaller bells than needed, hence the large unswept area between bell and bottom of pad.. Not all though.

The reyland kit puts the pad edge very close the disc bell so you don't get a large rust mark all round the disc.

Yeah they are a mess lol that was taken not long ago after fitting my beam and supra diff on the car. Once it is on the road I'll have it corner weighted and set up correctly so they my get rebuilt or replaced
