Hi all,

I'm going to replace the rear discs & pads on my 2008 MK4 2.0 Mondeo Estate tomorrow.

Before I start taking it to bits, can anyone tell me if I will need a piston wind back tool, or if the pistons just push back in?

 

you will need a caliper rewind tool mate

 

ta muchly. saves me taking it all apart just to find that out.

 

Yep ,both sides are clockwise on the mk4

 

Cheers guys. Bought my son a brake caliper rewind kit for xmas last year. Silly sod's lent it to someone ages ago, now he has to try and get it back from them
