Default Do all zetec turboes smoke?

Watching videos on YouTube with zetec turbos under full load they all seem to smoke I.e.
In the comments section nobody mentions the smoke though, is this normal or something? Looks like something is wrong when there's smoke IMO, but I tend to have owned n/a cars.
Thinking this is the right section as I was just curious was watching videos!

I've yet to see a ZT that is under full load going all the way up the rev range without smoke. I was gonna say that if there's that white smoke like that then it has to be burning oil somewhere..

Depends on what the cause of the smoke actually is.

It could be type of fuel, too much fuel, signs of a problem or simply due to temperature variations between engine/exhaust and atmosphere...ie condensation etc.

So it's silly to say there should never be any smoke...it just depends what is causing it.

But it isnt difficult with the correct parts/fuel/setup for it to run clean.

Mine doesn't smoke at all. As long as it's put together properly with good parts it should be fine.

A lot of people try to make these engines on a budget which can lead to problems.

Never had any problems on mine from build or map perspectives.
Well built engine and well controlled fuel map and enrichments.
Went through a few cheap turbos that let go though, they caused a lot of smoke however.

And as I've only actually watched the video now.....considering the engine is not under load, not under full load or under a normal operating condition....and some form of launch/anti=lag active...of course you would expect some "smoke" etc as fuel and timing are all very different to normal operating conditions.

Perhaps posting a video relevant to the question might be better

The smoke in the video is most likely the antilag.

My yb smokes a fair bit, I am hoping a rebuild will cure that.

Are you talking about cars on the RR or on the road? theres a massive difference as to what you see between the two.

Cars that smoke on a RR you'll probably not see doing it on the road.
