Default Which alternator?

I went to euro car parts today to order a new alternator for a mk4 escort 1.3 hcs.

There was 2 variants so both arrived this afternoon but I'm they/we are unsure which is the correct one or even if it matters?

They both look identical with the same pulley size.

The only difference is the part number. One has LRA00376 and the other LRA00607.

Can anyone shed any light on this confusion?

Cheers

Different amperage maybe? If so, I'd go for the higher one!

Only difference should be the amperage

Took a punt on one as I couldn't see any difference between them. Even amperage was the same. I presume either would have worked fine?

Anyway...
