sapphire boot still leaks ???
went in for mot yesterday only failed on corroded back brake pipes
but the boot still gets wet
used clear silicone sealer around the top of the spoiler
to no avail
pi$$ing me off now thinking bout taking a angle grinder to the
inside so i can see the bolt holes proper clear
WOULD THAT make it weaker me thinks so but
either that or the tin worm starts to get a grip
its 15 years old not a weld on the underside

As above m8 light seals most prob
Get some new ones and use some silicone was best I found
Also worth checking to see if boot catch needs adjusting so that boot lid sits down
tight onto the main boot seal rubber, needed adjusting on both my saffs
Just see if the boot has got any movement in it when its closed,up or down.
If it has the catch on the back panel is adjustable for height, just move it down a bit
at a time till boot lid has no movement in it when shut
