I've used holts wonder weld before on cracked heads and blocks with good results.mind you don't now if it would hold up whilst mapping.

I put some K-Seal in my lad's Corsa as it was using water somewhere, and the leak seems to have stopped

Clogs your heater matrix if used in the water system doesn't it, maybe best blocking the heater matrix until the sealant has been used and flushed out.

K seal gets good reviews/feedback. The factors I use sell a lot of it.

I wouldn't waste my time, I would get a new block sorted and begin again. Rubbish news though.

No point carrying on if the block is cracked, you only risk more damage.

Steel seal is realy good,
Its expensive but worth paying the extra for
I hada taxi with a cracked block pouring water out,
Stuck a bottle of steel seal in and its still fine 25k later
Used it in another couple taxis with dodgy headgaskets and its wored evey single time
When i 1st heard of it i thought it was a gimick,
But Ive been proved wrong,

That said i would have to recommend building anew engine then getting that mapped

Yup, K seal it.

A mate is a mechanic and has had a few of his customers with older cars with headgasket problems and are past economical repair. He has used it and the cars are still going a few years later.

We have steel seal at work, haven't used it yet but that k seal is really a get u home solution as it does eventually block things up like thermostats and heater matrixes etc. To be fair if
Your driving an old car where a repair is more than the cars worth then it's gotta be worth chucking a bottle of jollop in and see Iong it
