Default Fiesta MK3 drivers side front and rear footwells soaking?!

At wits end with this now, I can't see any water tracking down from behind dash, window seals look good, sunroof looks good. Seems to get very wet in the footwell when driving, had carpets up and no holes in floorpan, anybody have any ideas why it's getting so wet? No loss of antifreeze either, really don't know where it could be coming from It seems to be right where your heels would sit, the whole carpet isn't wet, just where my feet are and same for the back, but it's sopping wet and it's not coming from wet shoes.....Are there any common places MK3's leak? iIve heard bulkhead will bring water down behind the dash, but up by the pedals it's bone dry so can't be from up there? Any ideas?

rear light leaks can end up filling the footwells on a lot of cars, my sierra use to fill up the footwells turned out the water was coming in through a wiring loom grommet in the bulkhead and running down the wires

front foot wells can also be a leaking heater matrix, check all grommets in engine bay are tight and intact - Sometimes can perish.

Cheers for the help, took these pictures to show what's damp, like I said it seems to be right in the centre of each footwell and not surrounding, but no holes in floorpan?! Any grommets in the floorpan I might have missed, when I pulled the carpet up, there was a 10 pence sized grommet just lying on the metal, not actually in anything, could this be it?

Right guys, sunroof drains are all clear, Ive put new holes in the sills for the water to drain from and the footwells are still getting soaking. Now, water seems to be coming in passenger side aswell, at least it did today in the hideous rain. There are no holes as far as I can see in the inner arches up front for the water to get in, looking at passenger side front, I can see a bit of dribbling from behind the plastic kick plate that covers the fuel pump cut off switch? Drivers side haven't a clue, was bone dry when I came to car this morning after night of rain but as soon as I drive, it fills the car. Anybody help?

How about coming up through the gear stick. Is there not a rubber boot on the underside of them to keep water out. Could be split or perished.

No mate it's not coming through there. It seems to be coming in two places. Both front driver and passenger footwells have water coming in from up behind dash, then it drips down in by the kickplates in both footwells. Could this be windscreen? Also, the water in the back, seems to be coming in from plates it's had welded. It has had plates welded underneath where the floorpan was holed. Somehow, water seems to be collecting between these new plates and the old floorpan, then coming in through the old patched holes flooding the rear footwell. Am I best, to weld up these holes and seam seal the area? It's really doing my head in now...determined to keep the car but this is just becoming a right ballache to sort

The windscreen could be a good shout to be honest have someone spray a hose round the windscreen and see if you can see any water ingress.

Ive had the hose on it today and at first it seemed dry, then as soon as I drove the car, the rear footwell filled with water yet again. I've put two holes in rear sill for water to drain so why is it still getting in? Is it possible sills are still filling up, then when I drive the water collected in the sill gets gushed around and fills footwell? This is by far the most annoying problem I've experienced with a car...

I had a problem in a Leon Cupar r I had and it was coming in through the door membrane which is behind the door panel. All foot wells would fill up. Worth a check also.
