I think someone won it on the auction, obviously they turned up to look at it and it was hanging. You'd have to be mental to pay over six grand for that rot box. Bearing in mind just the respray would be £3k not to mention all the new panels and welding it needs and the whole engine and rest of car would need stripping down. I reckon u could buy a nice saph for £10k, this one would bankrupt u unless u could do all the bodywork and paint yourself of course

I don't think it's worth that much but if it's all there it can be fixed. As I said the other day there not making anymore of these and people are not selling the ones they own. Rotter's will start getting restored as they do with mk1 and 2 RS's

I also thought in the advert saying that when its fixed up it will sell for £16 to £18k was a bit over optimistic . How much would you need to spend on it to get it up to that sort of selling price?

Hmm, I could see you sinking £10k in to this once you start to strip it back and see how bad it really is...
