Thing is, all piss taking aside for just £500 quid what else would you get. For a car to just get to and from work and a bit of shopping it should be fine.As long as you fix the few things that are wrong with it, because dont forget she has been used to a new reliable car!

a 320 mile trip to buy a basic 12 year old astra? fuck that. id see whats available at the time locally and pick which one from that.

I had a "sorted" badge made out of mk6 escort letters on my mk2 fiesta when i first past my test.

Cracking little cArs them astras. I bought a 2001 Astra for £120 and sailed through the mot, sold it for £395 a couple of years ago and I still see it about now.
