Default Setting Up Wireless Access Point - Do I need a Radius Server

Just got hold of a US Robotics 5450 Wireless Access Point.

This is going into my home LAN which basically consists of my own PC running Windows XP and has an NTL modem connected through the USB port.

Im then using ICS to share this out to my LAN.

My network has no server all machines are in a workgroup.

In setting up the WAP to enable the 802.1x I have to specify a RADIUS server - why!?! And I dont have one!
