Default RST Cooling

Guys….

I’m still having a few problems with the cooling on my RST….. Does a radiator loose efficiency as it gets old? Mine looks like quite an old re-core so wondered whether it was worth swapping for a brand new Ford Radiator? Or should I go for an alloy radiator (Bearing in mind they are about £300 which I don’t really want to spend).

(Problem is due to the GRS blocking the airflow to the rad)

As said above, go for an alloy jobby. I've just put one on mine and it's made a huge difference.

The intercooler sits in front of the rad, so if the PRO was on the front, you wouldn't see it

Looks like I'm gonna have to splash out again then

Whos the best for Alloy Rads then??

Radtec?

Pro Alloy?

Pace?

GRS?

Anyone got any prices?

The reason I haven't put anymore fans on the car YET is because I don't think this is solving the problem just masking it. The fans cut in as soon I get down to about 20mph because there isn't enough airflow to the rad/the rads not efficient enough.

My GRS rad was very good!

graham does a setup now whihc can go with your cooler & have moutnings for 1 or 2 fans on the rad itself between the cooler!

Pro ALloy stuff looks extremly well made aswell & am sure Nick will tell u how good it is! seeing he has experience with it!

I would go for 1 of those 2 m8!
