My 'Escort Cossie Fund' has offically been set up! lol
Started a cushdy little evening job tonight, over the next few months should see a tidy couple of grand build up in a little account ive got purely for the Esc Cos.
The house is going on the market tomorrow after the kitchen floor has been laid, should make between £20 - £25k profit once its sold although £9k of that will pay off the last debt I have.
After the deposit & solicitor fees on the new house have been paid I should be well on my way to finally getting the Escort Cossie ive always dreamed of.
Always told myself once I hit 25 and my points on my licence expired then would be the 'right time'...... so 4 weeks in to having a clean licence its full steam ahead. Realistic aim will be to have it in time for National Day in August so fingers crossed
All donations welcome to paypal account 'ivegotboobspleasebuymeacossie'

Dave, its gotta be an Imperial Blue one (i know i know, everyone says that), then preferably small turbo & leather, however if a big turbo one comes along at the right time then I wont turn my nose up.
Has been a dream of mine to own one since I learnt to drive, I could've bought one when I sold my first house but my parents cottoned on very quickly to what I was planning to do and talked me into putting the £40k profit I made into other things, namely an £18k deposit on my current house which I didnt realise at the time but I cannot release until I sell up At the time tho I was 23 with 9 points to declare and was paying stupid insurance premiums so prob was the right decision at the time.

Why does everyone want an Imperial Blue one these days?
I've been looking for one, similar spec. to what you're after, for nearly two years! It's a soul destroying search sometimes!
Good Luck...you're gonna need it!

I check Autotrader and Exchange and Mart every day plus numerous other car websites, oh yeah there's cars out there but the majority of them are dogs or overpriced or both! But don't tell me I haven't been looking hard enough! Do you think I want to have the money in my account? I'd much sooner have the car in the garage!
Not dedicated! PAH! I'm the bloody Roy Castle of the Escort Cosworth searching world!

Craig - No, behave lol, its data entry for a logistics company, get to correct scanned delivery notes and listen to the radio for 3 hours, proper cushdy little number. Wasnt actually looking for an 2nd job but an Agency rang me Thursday and offered me it, saw the £££ signs and said yes without hesitation
Dave, yes it HAS to be the right car, or all my hard work isnt worthwhile. Most people are really anal about looking for one, 'gotta be under 50k blah blah blah' i'm not getting one to keep it sat in the garage looking pretty so low mileage isnt really a deciding factor for me.

R4N S S, the trick is to get one with minimal physical effort, then its easier to juggle 2 jobs. Bar work is fun but it is very demanding on your body, i've also done pizza delivery for Dominos in the past which is a good laugh, and good money if you've got a little runabout car to do it in but again it is very phsically demanding.
Something office based is a piece of p1ss
