virgin aint taking drivers on at the moment - apply to your local company, FGW or central i think your area is - get an application in and then go from there - even if they want you to start off as a conductor, its piss easy work and at 18k a year + comission - for that its money for old rope

Even Wessex Trains (ie the local trains that go Birmingham/Gloucestershire/Cardiff/Bristol/Somerset/Dorest/Devon etc etc) pay 30k a year after training...

i wouldn't worry about fucking the interview m8 - its if you fuck the tests up that you worry - you can only take them twice in a lifetime by law.


and the RMT union aint a fan of "ONE" trains at the moment - they are tryingto break health and safety and railway regulations by operating more driver only trains and making guards redundant

Hell, we even get charged 12 quid a go for someone to come and clean the wheelie bin!!
