So, I'm turning 17 in October so naturally thinking about a car. Fords are my favourite cars but I'm partial to other models aswell

So, on to the life story. Earlier this year at Easter ,I bought my first car ,a Saab 900 Turbo for £270. This was only meant to be a buy and sell project obviously but as it was too far gone, I decided to break it and made myself a few hundred quid probit

Then, the second car and cause for this thread , a 2000 Corsa B for £200. I've always had a soft spot for these so bought this intending to use it as my first proper car. Since then I've bought a lot of bits for it (oem mods ,brake bits etc...) to make it mine but not had time to work on it due to the two new projects

3rd car - 1999 Focus Zetec bought on eBay for £170 with a broken spring. I've sourced all the parts and should be selling next week with a wee profit hopefully.

4th and most recent - 2004 ST170 for £350 (has the inlet manifold fault.

Anyway, my recent Ford purchases have made me look differently upon the Corsa and have turned my attention to the more modern, bigger, slightly better looking mk6 fiesta

Now, this thread was probably a waste of time as you'll all be saying why through all that money at the Corsa to buy a fiesta instead? And you're probably right. But I'm the sort of person that will sell all that for a loss and buy a black mk6 and fit a zetec s kit and alloys to

I'm aware about insurance, declaring mods etc so really not looking to discuss that.

So if you could please advise me what to do, any comparison between the cars, facts, figures or just general opinion would be greatly appreciated.

Sell the lot and get the smallest engined, undesirable shitter you can for a years cheap insurance. Get a years NCB under your belt and then buy something you actually want.

not sure about corsa b's but my girlfriend had a corsa c and it was an absolute tub o shit! soooooo many common faults with them its unreal! when it came to mot time i just scrapped it!! only had 64,000 miles but i just said fuck it, im fed up of fixing it!
