Surely it'd be cheaper to buy a proper RS bonnet

^^ +1 as said by the time they've measured where to place the vents, cut out the holes, folded the edges and shaped the fixing points and fitted the vents, it will easily come to more than the price of a bonnet

Or just stick them on top - the ST doesn't need a vented bonnet, otherwise it would have come with one

If its a mk2 ST pre-facelift, the RS bonnet won't fit as the front is totally different

i did mine myself.
there is a template on the st owners forum which i used to place where my vents go and for cutting purposes.
8 pilot holes for the jigsaw (one for each corner) and 30 mins of bum clenching the job was done. used tigerseal to bond them in.
here's a thread i created on another ofrum:
http://www.fordownersclub.com/forums...-vents-fitted/

Nick (RSParts) makes the vents and can also do an install job if required.
