Had a right laugh tonigh my mate has a nice white st3 running a full scorpion exhaust , remap fmic, it's fast but doesn't seem to have any lag!

I'm full stripped out runnin 230bhp and my lag is terrible
Rolling in 3rd gear from 50mph 3k rpm he just pulls on me my turbo doesn't kick hard till 4.5k it's a t34 stage 2

When it kicks it pulls like a bloody train ! Can't seem to have a fair race lol,

On way back I had a right race with a corsa vxr! Mind I did undertake him about 120mph while he was hammering it but they are very quick for what they r!

wrong turbo choice really for 230bhp, much better options out there.
a t34 isn't so bad on a 2.0 engine, but the 1600 needs a lot of work to get it running well.
get a gt25 on there and your lag will drop and power output will be much better.

i drive a mapped 330d and that is leagues ahead of all you've listed, it's a laugh having a proper family car that is seriously understated.

Those 330d are very quick I have driven one before as a company vehicle!
What sort of power can the gt25 run?
Don't get me wrong when she gets up to spool it takes off and when changing gear it snaps ur kneck and torque steers like a bitch

I'm not overly impressed with corsa vxr's my friends can't really pull away from my remapped 520d on the other hand 330d's go past me like I'm not even trying.

Wrong turbo for your car mate, a stage 3 T3 would suffice (poss even a stage 2) and be far less leggy.

Always nice to scalp a VXR, the owners always seem to think they're something more special than they are.
