I have had reports of this user sending pms to people to sell items without being a gold member, so I suggest anybody that has made purchases from him contact the payment method hosts after allowing a appropriate time, if paypal was used then file a claim and if any of you have paid via the gift/friends method there is nothing anybody can do as there is enough threads and guides on pf telling you all never to use this method unless its a trusted friend etc and even then you do it at your own risk

Ive bought a fifth injector set up off him. He asked me to pay via bank transfer, but I said no only pay via paypal, and not as a gift. He said it would be here by now, ill give it a couple more days, and then file a claim.

Tried to sell me a cheap quaife thick wall front diff, i actually questioned the cheapness, then he wanted payment via bank transfer so i played along, he sent details with no name, so i asked for his full name and address of which ive had no reply, not that i was going to do the transfer.

From the start i got a dodgy story and a bad feeling regarding the deal.

Anybody found abusing the PM system to trade cloak and dagger will not be welcome on passionford, and anyone dealing with such people do so at their own risk totally

I have all the pm's in my inbox still. And like I say, i paid via paypal. I may as well file the claim now, as it seems this user is a fraud. What did the op buy if you dont mind me asking.

I guess im naive, as I treat everybody as I expect to be treated. Ive a name on the paypal transaction. I did say to him im not doing bank transfer as he was a new user.

I would play it safe and if possible open a claim and for those who have done bank transfers contact your bank asap, This is why we advise you never do deals via pm especially with a new user as alarm bells ring loudly

Ive filed a case with paypal, see what happens next..

I really hate this sort of thing, too much going on in the world for people to take the lend of us good folk try to keep our pride and joys on the road.

Ive bought some bits off the white RS Turbo thats breaking in the for sale section, but cant see there being any problems there as he is a gold user with plenty posts and seems like a sound bloke.

This idiot tried to sell me a escort cosworth front bumper and both rear spoilers for £150 lol at that point I knew if was a scam so played along. I told I would get a mate to collect it and pay for it as my mate lived in Inverness. As soon as I asked for an address he made excuses and I never heard anymore from him.

As the old saying goes "if it's too good to be true, it normally is!"

When Benji_ford first contacted me he had 0 post count and had been a member less than a week which raised my suspicions straight away.

Bil you was quite right to be sceptical and I am sorry to appear non sympathetic but you lot that bought from him should know better, at least those that paid by paypal as goods or anyone that used a credit card will be covered as for the rest of you , all forums attract these types and dealing with a newbie by pms is never a good sign

just cant believe gold members buying off non paid members, then winge about it when they dont get there stuff, seams to me gold members need to read the rules.
at the end off the day its ya own fault for buying off a non member.
deal with it.
