Default Series 2 starting problem when hot.

Morning everyone, I recently bought myself a H reg series 2, loving the car so far but I do have a Couple of issues to get sorted, the main problem is when it's up to normal running temperature it refuses to start from turning on the key, it doesn't click, doesn't turn over slowly, just nothing, the lights dim on the dash when you try
To turn it over but it just doesn't turn at all.

I've read a few previous peoples posts who have had the same problem but here's the strange part, if you put a jump pack on the car it fires up straight away with no hesitations. It has a new battery, looks like a new starter motor and the exhaust is heat wrapped. So has anyone had similar problems? Also if you leave the car for a couple of hours it starts up fine. Any help or advice is much appreciated.

Cheers
Ricky

Still sounds like the downpipe is cooking the starter. Try heat wrapping the starter too to see if that helps
