It'll sell at that price I would of thought......I know someone who put a Harvey Gibbs engine up for £16k on Friday and a bloke travelling from London to Durham to pick it up Monday, paid cash.

Don't wanna sound like a dick but I was told once that the rs500s had the 200 block that's the same as the 4x4 saphs but this one has the 205 block stamped on it?

only worth it if it gives you back your engine/matching numbers to a rs500 shell/v5.
rs500 was 205 block thicker blocks with different core holes...etc..

4x4 Water pump I think?

Or did all Rs500 have twin outlets?

Ye but you'll probably end up with a few more horses than 224! And a faster spool up.

if I don't I'll be after blood lol. But to be fair with the way 500's are collectors cars now people must want numbers matching. So if you got this engine for your 500 it wouldn't match. If your buying it to tune then your wasting your money lol as you may as well get a normal 200 block and put liners in it.

Ye you could probably have a good 200 block engine for the asking price, but as you say, for some collector wanting a matching number engine then its ideal.
