Good evening, just wanted too ask for some advice before I purchase a local car.

It's the ford Mondeo ghia x 2.0 TDCI , it has the dreaded common pulley problem. How much should this cost too fix? Is it worth buying it worth this fault?

2003 and 114k it's had a new turbo around 8k ago and a new clutch 500 miles ago..

What about injectors? Would probably cost you more than you paid for the car if they pack up.

Nothing in the paperwork about injectors so I'm guessing they are the originals still

Well I think it's got a few good optional extras

Heated and cooled leathers
Sony head unit 7 cd changer
Puddles lights

Plus a few other things

Sounds well specced, they suffer with serious injection pump / injector issues which will scrap the car. Fixing it up and selling on is what I would do, only if it's very chesp in the first place!

The guy wants Ł400 but I think will need Ł100 spent on the body

And another 6-700 quid on the injectors if they go. There not worth anything so I doubt whether you would make any money on it.
