just rang the number and someone answered (took ages for someone to answer), so yes still open.
Although everyone i know who has hispec brakes fitted have had nothing but problems

I also had problems with communication 3 years ago with them, also trouble with the quality of the brakeparts
Then we did go the Martin @ Reyland for AP brakes

Ok guys thanks for the usefull info, No Spec it will be then

I need a brake kit for normal Sierra set up as it's for a kitcar, any suggestions? AP is to dear so need a good alternative for a friend

Mk1 FRS kit would go on with the right brackets, pretty sure Reyland or MK could sort them out Marc.

Lots of brembo's fitted as standard to lots of vehicles, renault megane 225 sport, peugeot coupe v6, fiat coupe turbo, evo's etc etc. That would be your best bet

Use reyland or mt, you do not need to go ap....also if on a kit car then just good quality cossie discs with the std calipers will be fine on light weight, just use good pads from reyland. TVR chimera and griff 500 s run std cossie set ups.

Mondeo calipers 300mm focus 170st discs and some suitable brackets.

Used to run same calipers but with 283 cossie discs it would lock up at 100mph in a cortina.

I am now looking to up grade my std cos 2wd drive set up only done 250miles since full calliper overhaul new discs and pads etc, if I do get new brakes these will be up for grabs just waiting on rayland to come back to me with prices.

Jamie. He would need hubs too as the std sierra has different caliper bolt spacing.
