Default 1,6l CVH whistles

Hy there

First of all, Sorry for my bad english i try to write as good as i can.

I have a Problem with my Engine. It whistles, getting louder with higher Temperature and the pitch gets higher with rpm.

I think it has somethink to do with the camshaft or valves.

While i can replace the Camshaft and Hydrolifters i am not sure about the camshaft bushings. Are those replaceable? or do i have to replace the whole head if they have runmarks?

Thanks for the Help.

Mike

A whistle would imply air leak. Tappety sounds (typical CVH) are usually cam/rockers
