No end to the thievery
We have a transit pick up at work to deliver new fridges etc.
last used it on Friday and jumped into it yesterday started it up 1st gear and it didn't move.
Looked underneath and some chugger is away with the prop shaft off it.
Fooling theiving little bastards. Brand new it's £1500

pretty bad.
With the prices of car parts these days, I wonder how long before it becomes nationwide to find your car on bricks stripped of parts. Used to just be a scouser thing
I thought it was an old fashioned stereotype but went to hire a car in liverpool after docking there in a ship and the yard had 2 stripped shells. The receptionist explained they were hired with stolen ID then stripped Aparently its quite common hence loads of checks to hire a car there.

Have faith, the seeing as the police have solved all other crime and spend so much time targeting legal motorists, there should be plenty of them available to tackle these real crimes when they are reported.

What bastards! Cant ever see anything being done about it though. Starting to think the only way to defend your own property/belongings is to take the law into your own hands.

We used to always get pikeys break in to our yard and nick diesel out of the lorries. We had a new more secure fence put up, better CCTV but they kept coming back. In the end the lorries were filled in the morning with enough fuel to complete their run and were left almost empty at night, the tank caps were also left unlocked as the fuckers were breaking them off all the time which was costing a fortune too!
