Default audi a3 warning lights problem

any audi techs can help with the following problem ive encounted with my 55 plate audi a3 sportback.I changed the battery the other day and since that the srs and yellow steering wheel light has come on the dash,i googled it and said low battery voltage so I got another battery from graft but still no joy as lights still on and steering seams more heavy.any help would be gratefull.

Have you scanned it with VCDS? The codes may need to be cleared down.

I don't have any fault scanning tools,but car was perfect before changing battery.

Will prob need the steering angle sensor calibrated if the battery's been off
Nothings simple on modern cars, even just a simple battery swap can cause probs

Have you driven the car since fitting it? Some cars need to be driven to recalibrate and then the lights will go out

They should go off after being driven, they re-calibrate themselves

hi yes its done 10-15 miles and still on everything was spot on till swapped battery

It should sort itself out after about 5 mins of driving.

You need to scan it for codes

Try full left hold it over for 3 secs, full right 3secs then centre the wheel.
