Default Sytec fuel pumps v Bosch 044

I'm looking for any information about the differences between the 2 pumps.

Has anyone used or using a sytec one? Are they ok as there is a big price difference between the two.

Any help appreciated as always!

A 044 is fine, a DW350IL is the same fitment but flows about 20% more than a 044 but that's prob a bit much for what you are wanting,
I have not tried a Syntec 044 style fitment to be able to comment on that, I use there 450 version for fitment in the Evo or Escort cosworth.

How does the DW cope at pressure ? 044 seems to be the only pump out there ( compared to Walbro types ) that keeps flowing over 75-80psi where most others fall flat on their faces.

Current draw ?

At 40psi most flow tests for an 044 seem to be in the 300-330 lph range, not that anyone ever runs a boosted setup as low as 40psi in real load conditions.

edit, found this. They state the pumps are competition use only...are they reliable enough to use on the road ?

AMS 044 vs older Walbro ( not sure what their modified Walbro is...it seems to massively outflow a normal version )
