can anyone tell me what's the distance between the top and bottom O ring on an injector also confirm the O ring size

I haven't got a spare injector to hand mate otherwise I'd measure it, try Googling Bosch Injector Diagram, you may get a technical drawing of one with measurements on.

There are various o-ring sizes and thickness's depending on injector being used.
But if you google Bosch injector size as above, that should give you a rough idea.
