You mean whats happening in china now 
The labour rate is rising as the people want what we have and a fair wage.
Of course other developing nations may fill the slave labour void temporarily but its not going to last forever.
It will get to the point where it would be viable to make here, except that we no longer have the labour skills base to make it here so we would have to invest billions and billions or just put up and shut up with high prices.
Its a lesson the UK and most of europe is going to learn the hard way.

I've thought about this myself. Surely eventually the people getting paid £1 an hour or whatever labour they get in these developing countries, what Happens when there country is fully developed? Surely we'll be back to square one and have to start making our own stuff again?? Or paying through the nose again? We'll be back to make do and mend etc
Then we can all move abroad, start sponging off their dole and begging on the streets ! lol
