Heard people using clay bars but some other web sites are saying use a clay mitt.what is best and do you wax the car after.sorry for all the cleaning questions over the last few days.

A mitt is much quicker and easier. It is only part of the cleaning stage, you will still need to polish then wax / glaze after.

Thanks for the replys I have got poorboys polish,black hole,sealant to use anyone used poorboys stuff I had sample kit given to me with all the above in its got shampoo in it as well with 2 applicatirs and microfibre cloth

Yes poorboys is good stuff. Have a look on detailing world forum for some guides on how to use what you've got to get the best results.

I always use bilt hambers clay bar and highly rate it. I did try a clay mitt recently but due to it being black unlike the white clay bar you can't see the contamination it has lifted. Also found it hard to get in the tight corners etc with the mitt. So will be going back to the clay bar even if it does take a little longer.

Never heard of a mit! Can't go wrong with a good claying.

Clay mitts/cloths can be very effective but harder to see what you are removing and far more likely to marr the paint so I'd only use on cars that are being machine polished after. They save time and money as can be washed out and re used.
