Hi , im looking for a magazine feature done in the late nineties, we think around 98/99 and possibly in Redline magazine .
Sorry this sounds vague so far but the story is ----- my brother in law ( to be at the time ) came over and borrowed a toyota Hilux pick up truck and a flat bed trailer to move a mid Nineties ex BTCC Nissan Primera for a customer , somehow this then morphed into a photoshoot at goodwood and a load of mucking about on the roads ,i recall the feature i think it was something like "would you buy a used car from this man" or something silly like that , i really want to trace this mag and give it to him as a birthday present ,ive not seen him for years and we were chatting on the phone about this recently ,can anyone help ?
the car was blue and the red hilux had odd coloured wings on it a the time ??

Doesn't ring any bells and I was an avid reader of cars mags back then. Just asked my mate who used to work on Redline magazine and he doesn't remember it either.

I've asked another magazine mate if he recalls it, I'll let you know what he says.

Thank you so much , we thought it was about 99 but it may be later , ive looked on e-bay and couldnt see anything other than a vague cover mention in Max power jan 2000 but the vendor wouldnt look to see .

There's more than one of that issue on eBay. It's also available on The Magazine Exchange, so may be worth asking them.

The Magazine Exchange have got info from the contents page in their listing, so may be worth asking them. Mentions driving a Ł250k Touring Car.

Just found the January 2000 issue of Max Power, it's not got the feature you're looking for. One of the writer's is driving Matt Neal's Primera.
