Default Flocking

I'm looking to perhaps get the upper dash in my trackday clio flocked (for little other reason than I've always wanted a flocked dash).

How durable is proper (electrostatic) flocking? Does it stand up to cleaning when it gets dusty etc?

Who has used who for flocking in the past and would they recommend them?

Has anyone any idea what it might cost to get it done?

This is the panel:

I used Ron at the Flockshop http://www.theflockshop.co.uk/

It works pretty well. I had a few bits that I will re-do somewhen. It is easy to clean and looks good. I personally think it looks better when you do more of the dash.

I posted stuff to Ron and then drove down to get it to protect it...he said pay for it when you come down and you are happy with it.

I have seen cheaper but a dash panel already out of the car might be £70. If you added in the little binnacle it might not cost much more at all.

It is durable, people have done wheels before and even whole cars.

What amazed me was the detail...I had a temperature control done and Ron was able to add a + and - along with a blue for cold and red for hot!

Cheers for the gen, thats very cool indeed!

I love the look, but dont want to be re-doing it annually!

Ultimately the bottom half of the dash will probably vanish from the car so Im not too bothered about that and the binnacle and dash top are one piece
