my cousin is round, he mentioned B8 OHP for B8O HP or even B8OHP, I think the 8 helps as it makes my eye associate the B to an 8 better than a 9 does.

Can you get B50 SVM? Just looking at your sig and thinking that would fit.

Or try something spaced differently - I have H7 OGK at the moment. It was bought for my Dad as he's a big Hibs fan (fuzzy will love that) and it stands for Hibs beating Hearts 7-0 on New Years Day 1973 and his initials are GK. It's spaced as H70 GK to reflect this.

It's not great but R90 OCB is £250 and could read R900 CB

Do you want to spend out to advertise another company though? And potentially a bit cringey unless you're directly affiliated with SVM IMO.

Just looking and Y900 BHP is only £319. Seems cheap.

Mind you, are half these plates actually available? Was on national numbers app and my number plate is on there! Someone asked to buy mine and got it valued online, does that mean it's stuck in their inventory for enquiries?

I think the plates are advertised for sale but with no price after valuations are done. I've spoken with a company about this already and I told them "you do realise half the plates you advertise for sale aren't actually for sale" I didn't get any response to that lol, all I got was to be told "I shouldn't get a valuation unless I own the plate" whatever lol

If you could track down G7 RCB I think that would look decent spaced as G7R CB. Once you start looking, there are so many possibilities. For me, plates with 5 or less characters look the best.

I know you said you didn't want to spend crazy money on a plate but a dateless plate with as few characters as possible will never lose money IMO and it could be something nice to pass down. I don't have a middle name so I either need to creative or fork out for something decent. 83 JK or JK 83 would be ideal but I'm yet to see them for sale and if they were they seem to be in the region of £4-6k.

I have been having the same problem lately finding half decent plates.

The one for the FRS i managed was R5 ATX pretty lame (RS ATTACKS) but at least it was an RS plate and it was well priced.

Just bought the bentley one which even with illegal spacing was too good to turn down, once again a bit lame but i dont care and its my initials P4Y RG

Anything 5 digits with Rob in it is 2K so i just couldnt be arsed with it

Now that car tax is checked online and by anpr in police cars do not buy one and use illegal spacing as it will be nothing but grief. You CAN have the plate confiscated but normally its a fine and points.

My car was in max power wearing J205 RS (being a 205 with cossie engine) and the previous owner said he just got fed up with being stopped all the time. It should be J20 SRS.

With a car as fast as yours it will only infuriate the police if you are seen speeding...add in the illegal plate and they are less likely to let you off.

Back in the early 90s I was pulled over for being on my car phone in my BMW, he then spotted that I had made my plate look like B 7OBY INSTEAD OF B7 OBY. And he fined me for that and made me prove I had the new plate made up at an mot station. (You can guess my name)

that spacing is blatently obvious though, on my most recent trip (400 miles) i saw at least 10 illegally spaced plates, some a lot worse than that.

My friend who deals in plates sold 300 illigally spaced plates last year, 2 years ago there was talk of even lifting the spacing legalities to create more revenue.

Its a £60 fine, its also 3 times and then confiscated. i have not even seen an ANPR car where i live for months.

if i get told off once then ill change the spacing, ill let you guys know how long i get away with it for, for the money it was a no brainer.

Caddyshack - We are talking about 2 different things here with your 205. Spacing and blatantly making a character look like something it's not ie a 5 is not a S and they look differnt when in the legal font.

Im not prepared to move spacings to different places, but I will loose the space like my supra that read S6PRA, and I got pulled in that car and they never mentioned it.

ive bought B8O HP for £399 all in which im very happy with.

ive ordered it in full size totally legal font in 3d look on a 13" long plate to read B8OHP for 880hp, in 3d look Charles wright font.

I had to have the 5 digits in the end, worse case scenario if I have to have it as B8 OHP im still fine with it but will need to go on a 16" plate as the scape wont fit on a 13" legally

im sure that will be fine, although not having a space is exactly as illegal as moving the space.

I think as usual its just down to how the copper feels at the time. a lot of people believe the spacing laws are going to change, there is no way the anpr cars dont have the technology to read the plate, they may not have had at the start but they will have by now.

It's strange as a number plate company I've contacted has just emailed me back and said B8 OHP changed to B8OHP is illegal, but as B8O HP will be fine so I ordered them to, and this is from a company that sells plates legally only apparently, wtf lol

I shall decide which to use once I see them

im sure they are both illegal, but as tgere us no real difference with an O and 0 , if any difference? its less likely to be noticed by the human eye of a cop.

anpr scan might cause an issue tho as they are teo different plates, thats if the B80 one actually exsists?

When I had B 7OBY I used to carry a set of legal plates in the boot after the first pull over, on the basis that "I had been to a show and forgotten to swap back to the correct ones but here they are officer". Not sure if it would work but no great cost to try.

The J20 SRS plate was only ever shown as J20S RS but the previous owner still got pulled a lot.

I guess it is where you are and what you are doing or just good or bad luck.

Nice plate you got though!

I wouldnt pay fuck all for any plate mentioned yet You do need to be pissed and doing cart wheels and squinting at the same time to see what most say

As said before Carl save your money and your car is that quick no cunt is going to see the plate and as you know the car is more impressive than a uk so called cherished plate

Oh and seeing most cunts hate people that spell badly why do they pay a fortune for a plate that spells fuckin nothing close to what they say it is

It let's the car down imo Jay the current plate I hate it, it's 5 digits which I like aswell so I can run a 13" plate legally looks so much better imo

But your right in that its not what the cars about, what it needs is to supply me with a pod 9 sec ticket

I wanted to buy TUR 80F (TURBO F) at auction in 2013 but didn't have the cash. Sold for £1700 and is on a 911, now. 3 weeks later i was given £3,000 by the Army! I bet its worth some money now.
