A full set of decent gauges show everything you require although they are not cheap. As for a Speedo/Odometer again I choose a Stack with Rev counter combined. Other gauge is Boost pressure.
At least look at a car with this new fangled type of dash before you decide they confused the hell out of my old Brain .

See, i think this is just too much, why have all them guages when you can have it all in front of you on the stack/aim etc. thats a lot of guagaes to keep your eyes on!!

When you add together all the cost of the gauges it would be cheaper to buy the dash but Rod and most don't realise when you start you will engine up monitoring so many functions. It just kind of evolved to that.

I've got a race technologies dash2 in mine but I'm going to remove it and fit gauges back in as it's not that good
It still gives all the readings but I can't get on with it

I've still got a selection of gauges I've oil pressure temp boost and afr. The idea of a more modern looking display appeals to me and I like the idea of it taking revs temp and data like that from the ecu. I'm going to email plex once my engine is in and new diff / beam is fitted and see what they can offer. To me the layout of there display and the fact it's colour is what I like the look of or 2nd to that the aim is good and at around 600 quid not a bad price iver

If plex did a bigger version and altered some of the layout I'd be interested, the fact you can review the log on the dash is an awesome feature

its certainly keeps with the period of the car rod with all them gauges bud, may aswell get an old t4 on it to go with them lol

digital is so much better, my toucan display will show all gauges at once or 1 large one at a time all showing peak readouts constantly, and with our decent ecus hooked up failsafes can be in place to save the motor.

the gtr is great in that the original mfd shows most things anyway as 1 massive gauge or as a 6 way display with all the gauges in.
