Right how much Diff oil need to be in the diff?

See the oil plug:


Is it supposed to be to this level? As i just unscrewed this and oil starting pissing out

Hmmm so you reckon take plug out and just let the oil drain out. then when it stops should be right?

Cool so just drain it out then with the plug.

Hope i havent done any damage to it running to much oil
