Hi PF'rs I have a cvh ISCV laying around and believe it to be a temperamental one high revs/low revs syndrome, can these be salvaged at all by soaking the internals with a de carbon type substance? Or is it fit for the bin?.

When ive had dodgey iscv.s in the past. Ive soaked them in brake fluid. Ive done my cossie one twice and have done a few mk4/5 fiestas in the past too.

They seem to work fine to me after they have been soaked over night.
