Hi All.

So I went to have my car remapped yesterday and the guy said there is a boost issue. So upon doing hours of research yesterday evening, I found that the EGR to Intercooler silicon hose is prone to splitting and has split.

I've spent 3hrs getting the thing out to find that Ford parts have just shut. I have also found out that this hose from ford parts is £68+vat

Where could I get one today or tomorrow?? I've tried gsf,suttonautofactors but none of them stock them.....ahhhhhhh!!

I live in the Nottinghamshire area.

At a guess a duratorq tdci mk3 mondeo?

 

Won't get it for a few days but you can get replacement ones in silicone from eBay etc, for about 1/2 the price of the Ford one and much stronger!

 

Agree they split down the back on the first bend, changed a few on them including my own car
