Abandoned 3dr in japan
Hi guys,i was looking through instagram last night and came across this picture below of a 3dr that had been snapped by someone on google streetview in Osaka japan. I messaged him for the co ordinates and I got them this morning. The pics were taken by google in april this year.

Now I might be barking up the wrong tree but that to me looks like the old severn valley cossie? if you look closely you can see the name across the bonnet, cage, wide wings and quarters and the split rim revolutions.
It seems to be in a bad state but all there. Can anyone else shed any light on this?

Good find! I'd say it's the same car. Guessing they don't have much of a problem with Cossie theft over there!
Pics of the car in its hey-day here:

What are the chances of a known car like that apearing in a random pic on the other side of the world??
What a waste of effort importing it to japan to rot away like that.

Too many posts.. I need a life!!
I was talking to a trader who used to deal in cossies and performance cars in the early 90's, he was telling me he sold an rs500 to be exported to japan for about 6 grand! Insurance was aparantley almost impossible to get, he said back then even a motor trade insurance policy would not cover them and specifically stated it.

I went in it
My brother worked at Severn valley back then I remember him and a friend picking me up one night in this thing. I had to sit on the cross bar of the roll cage in the back. What a memory for me I was about 10 lol
