Default Sapph 4x4 Silicone Hoses...

Hi All,

Next job for the Sapph for me is to get the hoses replaced with Silicone ones - have looked at the usual Samco and SFS, which seem quite dear for a full set but have also seen a lot of 'Mishimoto' ones appearing on ebay - has anyone got any of seen any and know if they're any good ?

I assume they're just copies, prob Chinese or from somewhere else in the world but just wondered if anyone has any views on them ? They seem quite a bit cheaper so might give them a go I reckon

Go for Roose motorsport ones, you won't get much better than them

I've got samcos on mine, doing a nice job. Bloody pricey but I've seen more expensive pipes going for sale at the main dealers i work in. £70 plus vat for a single coolant hose I fitted yesterday to a shogun!

Roose are a fiver cheaper so I've found out today... but you get an additional PAS pipe too apparently !

For the sake of a fiver, I'll prob stick to the Samco's then !..

I paid £440 for a full set of samco's and still had to pay extra for the turbo return and power steering pipe, plus a couple of straight lengths

Wasn't 100% keen on them at first but really like them now they are fitted

won't need a fitting kit with the hoses as they have the tee fitted already, so just put the dumper in the hose and connect the reference hose to the inlet manifold behind the throttle

yes just vacuum line, if the car is std then it will have a dumper on the hot side of the cooler, so the hose feeding that can be used unless you want to buy coloured 3.0-3.2mm hose.
