As above does anyone work for Mercedes or know of anybody that works for Mercedes? It look like I may need a part which isn't cheap (£1384 retail!) so wondering if anybody can get me a discount on it!

MikeyRobbo - It's the Front ABC valve block (suspension, common as fook on these) for my SL55 that needs replacing, got an Indy currently attempting to strip and rebuild but i'm not confident he will be able to succeed (he's had the car over 9 weeks now so getting a little bored of waiting!).
